Sorry it's been a bit since I updated but Dustin and I were married for time and all eternity in the Boise Idaho Temple on December 13th. Our ceremony was beautiful and was at 9:30 am. Afterwards we took pictures outside the temple (we still have yet to get the professional pics back) Then family and friends headed over to 'Cancun', a Mexican resturaunt and we had our luncheon. It was wonderful to spend time with friends and family. Then at 4:30 pm, everyone took pictures at the reception site, the LDS church on Northview. My mom had decorated and the place looked absolutely gorgeous!
We had a wonderful time at the reception. First, the wedding party was in black, red, white, and silver which made for a pretty stunning line, and the reception was mostly done in black, white, and silver.
Aunt Debbie made our cake for us, which was a white fondant with a simple black ribbon to surround it and fresh red roses on top! She did a beautiful job!
Our first dance was Michael Buble's "You and I", followed by the daddy/daughter and mother/son dance, "The Way You Look Tonight". All of our music was jazz, which Dustin and I specifically chose together. There wasn't a specific dance but we had a few people dancing here and there and it made for very fun time!
Dustin and I both shoved cake in each other's face and I about choked, :), but got him back!
My childhood friend Lauren caught bouquet! I am excited for her because she has a serious boyfriend and we're thinking it's fate that she caught it! We didn't have a garter toss because I forgot to wear mine!
To make our reception even more special, Dustin and his quartet sang to me. It was wonderful and they did a tremendous job!
After the reception we headed to the Anniversary Inn where we got to stay in the Presidential Suite! It was beautiful and we had a great time and highly recommend this room and hotel!
I will be posting pictures from our honeymoon and writing about it soon!
Love,
Lyndsey and Dustin Wright
